Juneathon day 8: rain
June 8, 2010
Naturally, approaching the summer solstice, you kind of expect a lot of rain. Loads, in fact. And I should probably have kept this in mind with my choice of shoe – opting for a pair that quickly clogged up with mud on the rural paths.
So, to cut a long run short, just under 8 miles – about half on road, half crashing through over-grown paths – with some hills, a heron, a posh boarding school and lashings and lashings of rain. Kind of glad not to get lost this time round, although there were elements of misdirection at times…

Seems you had a run with everything in it. I love it when I see heron on a run. I don’t know why I like them so much but they always lift my spirits
