Registrations for the 35th Paris Marathon have been full for a while, with the race at its capacity of 40,000 runners. However, if you’re looking for a spring marathon, or a chance to raise money for a good cause, The Stroke Association still have five bond places left.
All the details you need to know about applying for one of the bond places can be found at www.stroke.org.uk/parismarathon. It’s a great race to run, an amazing way to see Paris and a great charity to support.
I’ll be writing some hints and tips about preparing for and running the marathon for weekly The Stroke Association charity runners email. If you ran the race and have any nuggets of wisdom you think would benefit first-time marathon runners, please leave a comment.
