Hire me!
I’m a runner and writer (as this website should make abundantly clear), and although Foot4ward isn’t my sole source of employment I am available for writing and/or running work. I’ve worked in mainstream and educational non-fiction publishing for ten years, so have an eye for detail, can write (and edit) to fit and work well to deadlines.
I’m fairly easy-going about what I’ll do – particularly if it interests me – so feel free to get in touch with any suggestions you may have. However, to give you an idea of the kind of thing I’m happy to do, here’s a (non-exhaustive) list:
- Writing about any aspect of running. I’ve been writing about running for three years on Foot4ward, I’ve published three running ebooks, and also provided a regular column in the Stroke Association’s email newsletter to their Paris Marathon runners in 2011.
- Producing bespoke versions of my ebooks. For example, if you were a race director and wanted your half-marathon to stand out, perhaps a print-ready PDF training guide packed with practical training advice that could be distributed physically to runners along with their race numbers might make your race stand out.
- Event editorial – from detailed course previews to full race reports, some of my most popular posts provide the kind of insider information that runners value when preparing for a race.
- Sponsored posts on the blog, with 26,000 on-site page views in 2011 and a growing subscriber base, Foot4ward can successfully reach dedicated and engaged runners.
If there’s anything I can do for you, please get in touch to discuss the options available.
